Camelia Art Café, best coffee in Barcelona
(Puedes leer este post en Español aquí)
It was pure coincidence that I discovered Camelia Art Café. I had just moved to Sagrada Familia area and a friend was visiting so I took the chance to discover my new neighborhood while exploring it with her.
On her first day, we decided to walk to the city center going through Gaudi’s Cathedral. Two blocks from it, a cute café called our attention with a bike resting at the entrance and a post “Best national roasted coffee 2018”. That must be something… When I looked up to see the details of the place I saw the cutest space.
We got in to get our coffee to go, but promised ourselves we would return for brunch and for cake (which they have, homemade)
This has become my favorite place in Barcelona to have a good coffee, to go for brunch on Saturday and to eat dairy free and vegan cake.
In Camelia you will find Loli and Vito, an Argentinian couple that arrived in Barcelona some years ago and they made their dream come true: open a café where to have local and quality products in which they also organize different events: from wine tasting to concerts, and have a special dinner menu on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
Loli runs a huge community on instagram in which she promotes entrepreneur women, local and sustainable businesses and traveling tips.
If you are in Barcelona, you can’t miss this little and charming café! (Also, i't’s pet friendly!)
Tell me in comments if you know it and, of course, other recommendations are welcome!
